This New Year, Resolve to Go Solar

From all of us at Urban Solar, happy new year!

We hope you had a fun and festive holiday season, and now that 2018 is upon us, we thought we’d take the opportunity to remind you that solar power equipment is less expensive now than it has ever been. This makes 2018 the perfect year to go solar, and we want to make it easy for you. In case you need some support for the decision to pull the trigger on that solar project you’ve been putting off, consider these facts:

There are no ongoing maintenance costs associated with solar PV systems. Once you’ve incurred the cost of acquiring and installing the system, there are no more expenses for the life of the entire system.
When you install solar power generation equipment, you are reducing your carbon footprint, which is the amount of carbon emissions that are released into the atmosphere as a result of grid-sourced energy production.
Solar power is by far the most popular form of residential renewable energy generation, with a new solar PV system being installed every four minutes!
Your new solar power system can be easily monitored with a tablet or smartphone. See this video for more information on the Enphase Home Energy Solution.
Newer, lower-profile rail systems mean your solar panels can have a sleeker, more attractive look than older, more traditional systems.

Beyond these benefits, there is the more obvious, most widely-cited reason to install solar power systems in the first place: lower energy bills! How much could you save by installing solar? Well, that depends on a variety of factors, like your existing power consumption, the price you’re currently paying per kilowatt of electricity, the location of your home, and so forth. Even still, we can give you a rough estimate by getting some answers to a few basic questions. To get that process started, just call us or head over to the contact page and send us a message.

There’s a lot to be gained in the new year. We want to be your partner in your endeavor to improve your home or business with solar power equipment. There’s literally never been a better time to go solar, so contact us today and let’s get the conversation started.
