Summary

The Assistant Account Manager will be responsible for managing allocated accounts, driving business relationships and working on a fast-paced, effective sales team to support Urban Solar’s monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.

Job Duties

  • Expands Urban Solar sales network by identifying, pitching and building relationships with potential partners and/or customers in
  • Deepens and expand relationships and business with the existing partners/customers
  • Provides regular reporting to sales management, including sales pipeline development, forecasting, key account status, market condition updates, sales results and team earnings
  • Efficiently and pro-actively manages relationships providing quotations, shepherding orders through the company process, and providing excellent post-sales service on a timely basis
  • Provides support to the sales team through duties that may include order processing/entry, price quotations, information input and management, database management RFP response, product training or other related tasks
  • Assist in workflow of all sales processing including preparation of reports, charts, and other statistics to support and direct the sales department.
  • Responsible for customer support during the entire sales cycle. 
  • Assist with budget management to ensure expenses meet target goals, May handle and resolve more complex customer requests or complaints.
  • Develops and implements promotional events and interacts with external contacts to increase sales volume.
  • Travel as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but associates or high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents, Microsoft applications.
  • A full understanding of office management systems and procedures
  • Outstanding planning and time management skills
  • Up to date with advancements in office gadgets and applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workloads 
  • High level verbal and written communications skills

• Primary office environment, occasional travel to oversee project operations and quality

Assistant Project Manager-

Summary

Experienced level assistant to Project Manager. Supports by completing administrative tasks necessary to move a project forward on 100+ projects simultaneously.This would include the occasional customer communications. The APM needs to be proficient in, but not limited to, Permitting, Net Metering and Monitoring. The APM is a proving ground for those wanting to elevate to a PM in the future. Organization and time management are key skills for successfully bridging the network of Urban Solar.

Job Duties

  • Notarizing and recording of all Notice of Commencements within 24 hours of receipt
  • Compiling permit application documents to create completed permit packages 
  • Coordinating permit package submissions to the respective Building Departments 
  • Daily tracking of permit pipeline and updating CRM notes per project
  • Creation and completion of all job docs
  • Creation, completion, and PTO tracking of all NEM applications -act as liaison between utilities and client
  • Calling in inspection time frames and communicating this to the PM

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Associates degree preferred but associates or high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience. 
  • 2+ years proven experience in clerical accounting
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents, Microsoft applications.
  • A full understanding of office management systems and procedures
  • Outstanding planning and time management skills
  • Up to date with advancements in office gadgets and applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workloads 
  • High level verbal and written communications skills
